Acetate is less likely to break and better for the environment. We use outward flexible metal hinges for a flexible and comfortable fit. All GOWOOD sunglasses provide real protection with their CE certified category 3 lenses. They are impact-resistent and are provided with a hardwood bamboo storage box for protective purposes, as well as with a microfiber pouch to clean the lenses.
